When I went to the beach in the Philippines, I saw a mural in the sand that was covered with a painting of two guys. I thought, “That’s my friend.”
“I was in the shower, and I saw it on the screen, and my heart just sank,” said Ms. Davis, who lives in Washington.
“It was a message from my mom.
It’s not something that happens often, but it does happen.
I’m not sure if that was the right message.”
Her friend, John, agreed.
“I think that was really powerful because it was such a simple message,” he said.
“There was just so much that it was really about, it was about two friends, one of them going to work, and one of the guys was painting a mural.
And it was like a painting, and they just wanted to have fun.
I think it’s really important to have a message that people can relate to.”
Ms. Williams said her friend, a marine biologist who is also a painter, made the mural after seeing her friend paint on a wall in his backyard.
He said he painted it because he liked her artwork.
“He thought that was just something that was cool, but I think there’s something about the water that you can see in people’s eyes,” he told The Associated Press in an interview.
He added that he also liked the mural, which features the face of his friend.
“When I was younger, it wasn’t my idea to paint,” Mr. Williams added.
The mural is one of about 20 in the city of San Antonio that was painted by two local artists after a friend of a friend was killed by a drug-related shooting in the area. “
So when I’m painting, I’m just trying to tell people that I can paint.”
The mural is one of about 20 in the city of San Antonio that was painted by two local artists after a friend of a friend was killed by a drug-related shooting in the area.
Mr. Dominguez, who said he is a Marine, painted the mural in his spare time as a hobby.
He was also a student at the University of Texas at San Antonio when the shooting happened, where he had been a student.
Mr, Domingueres family is in the process of getting the mural painted over.
“As soon as we have the mural finished, we’ll have a mural,” he explained.
“We’re going to start with the two men that were killed, and then the others that were injured, and finish it with the ones that died.”
He said that the mural is also an inspiration for his own children, and said that his own son is also painting a portrait of his father.
“They’re going through it,” he added.
Ms. Lue, the resident artist, said the mural could have been painted in the same place as the shooting, if she had not left the area during the time frame.
“For the people who are living here and the people that are hurting, I feel like I need to have some kind of presence in the community, especially in this neighborhood, because I’ve never lived here before,” she said.
Ms Lue said she was inspired by the work of the artist’s son, who painted the scene in the mural.
“My son did that, and he has a mural that’s a bit more realistic and a bit darker,” Ms. Krumm said.
She said she hoped the mural would help people “feel that there’s a connection between you and the person that you love.”
“Because the people you love, they don’t always live the same, but that’s okay,” she added.
